Thrive has been shortlisted for Brilliance in Customer Service, with Sean Reddington named as a finalist for CEO of the Year.

The Business Brilliance Awards celebrate the best businesses and leaders in a range of fields. In its 2022 edition, fast-growing learning technology company, Thrive, has been shortlisted for ‘Brilliance in Customer Service’. The category recognises organisations constantly striving to exceed customer expectations, deliver industry-leading standards of service, and innovate around every aspect of the customer experience.

Over the last two years, Thrive's ARR has increased by 400% and its customer base has grown by 357%, including global organisations like Sky, Sysco, Coca-Cola EP, Financial Times and Ted Baker. In the same period, Thrive's employee count has increased by 208% to meet ever-growing demand, and the team has maintained 99% customer satisfaction and 99% customer retention, with just one platform cancellation since the company was founded in 2018.

Underpinning Thrive's success is a culture-first ethos, championed by Sean Reddington, who has been named as a finalist in the CEO of the Year category.

Sean said:

“The idea that happy employees produce an incredible customer experience isn’t ground-breaking, but something we’ve worked hard on this year is our flexible-first approach, and realising our mantra that a career is a family choice - and not the other way round. That’s why we’ve introduced revamped, improved maternity and paternity policies to an offering that already features unlimited holiday, work from anywhere and 10am-3pm Fridays.

“The reception has been fantastic, and that doesn’t just show itself in our internal engagement surveys, or recruitment efforts, but also in the results and feedback we’re achieving with our customers. We’re building fantastic, long-lasting relationships and a genuine community. Our customers are taking Thrive with them when they move jobs. We’ve even welcomed three ex-customers to our team this year, which is a huge testament to our culture. I’m really proud of everything we’re achieving together. It’s great to receive this kind of recognition, and we’ll be shaking up the learning technology world for years to come.”

The winners of this year’s Business Brilliance Awards will be announced on 1st December at the awards ceremony at Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington.
