Overview

When you use AI-powered features within the Thrive platform, certain information may be processed to generate relevant responses, insights, or content. This information may be shared with our trusted AI partners strictly for the purpose of delivering these features.

We are committed to transparency and ensure that only the minimum data required to provide AI functionality is processed.

What Information Is Processed

When interacting with Thrive’s AI features, the following types of information may be processed:

  • Text you enter into AI-powered tools
  • Questions or prompts you submit
  • Content you ask the system to summarise, analyse, or generate

This information is processed solely to deliver the requested AI functionality.

Enabling AI Features and Consent

AI-powered features are optional and can be enabled or disabled by administrators via the Thrive admin panel.

By enabling these features, you confirm that:

  • You have the appropriate authority within your organisation to consent to this processing on behalf of your company
  • You understand and accept the use of the AI models and providers listed below

AI Models and Providers

Thrive integrates with industry-leading AI providers to deliver high-quality assistance and insights. These providers may change over time as functionality evolves.

Current providers include:

  • OpenAI – United States (Terms of Use apply)
  • Gemini – Belgium (Generative AI Terms apply)

These providers process user inputs to generate responses or outputs as part of the AI features.

No customer data processed through Thrive’s AI features is used to train or improve any underlying AI models.

Data Protection and Security

AI functionality within Thrive is designed to meet the same security and privacy standards as the rest of the platform.

We recommend that you:

  • Review the use of AI features with your security, IT, or compliance teams
  • Ensure usage aligns with your internal data protection policies and risk management practices

Data Usage Recommendations

To reduce risk, we recommend avoiding the entry of personal, sensitive, or highly confidential information into AI-powered features unless you have confirmed this is appropriate within your organisation.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Personal data (e.g. names, contact details, identifiers)
  • Confidential or proprietary business information
  • Financial data, passwords, or security-sensitive details

Accuracy and Human Oversight

While Thrive’s AI features are designed to provide helpful and relevant outputs, they may occasionally generate incorrect or incomplete information.

AI-generated outputs:

  • Should not be relied upon as the sole basis for critical or high-impact decisions
  • Should be reviewed and verified by a human where appropriate

If you wish to fully disable AI-powered features and remove related functionality from your platform, please contact our support team via the Thrive support portal. We will assist you in aligning the platform with your preferences.

You have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to:
