Overview

This Product Privacy Policy applies to your use of the WomensIn instance of Thrive Learning and Skills Platform (the Service), including the use of our associated mobile applications (Mobile Apps). This Product Privacy Policy applies to data THRIVE processes on behalf of our Users (User Data) in our capacity as a controller. All processing will be done in accordance with the UK GDPR under the lawful basis of consent. By using the service, you consent to the processing of your data under this policy.  

We periodically update this Product Privacy Policy. We will post any changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, users will be notified directly. While we will notify you of any material changes to this Product Privacy Policy prior to the changes becoming effective, we encourage you to review this policy periodically. We will also keep prior versions of this Product Privacy Policy in an archive for your review.

Use of service

THRIVE LEARNING EXPERIENCE PLATFORM

Our Learning and Skills Platform allows users to create and share training or social materials. The Platform can also be used by Users to organise training and learning materials into campaigns to be shared with users on the system, or to assign mandatory training to large groups of users on the system. Users are also able to create and share content with others on the system for the purpose of knowledge sharing.

USE BY THRIVE

Data within these Platforms is processed on an automated basis to help generate suggestions for content users may be interested in, and streamlining user experiences as they create content. Insights from data may be used to offer tag suggestions or content recommendations to other sites, but no personally identifiable data shall be made visible as part of this processing. We utilise sub-processors to send system notifications to end users based upon their own activity or the activity of other users on the site. We do not share any information about customers or end users with any third parties except for the purposes outlined above. 

THRIVE may also use the Service to share content and monitor the engagement of users with content across the system. We use the information collected through our platform to provide the Service (which may include the detection, prevention and resolution of security and technical issues)

Product-specific disclosures

MOBILE APPLICATIONS

We use mobile analytics software to allow us to better understand the functionality of our Mobile Apps on your mobile device. This software may record information such as how often you use the application, the events that occur within the application, aggregated usage, performance data, and where the application was downloaded from. In addition to information we collect on our Websites, when you use our Mobile Apps we may also collect your city location, device model and version, device identifier (or “UDID”), OS version, and your Service credentials. We send push notifications from time to time in order to update you about content and events within your organisation. If you no longer wish to receive such communications, you may turn them off at the device level. We may link information we store within the analytics software to Personal Information you submit within the Mobile App. We do this to improve services we offer you and improve our marketing, analytics and site functionality.

LOGGING

When you use the Service, we automatically collect information about your computer hardware and software. This information can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, internet service provider (ISP), the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used by THRIVE for the operation of the Service and to maintain quality of the Subscription Service. For these purposes, we may link this automatically-collected data to Personal Information such as name, email address, address, and phone number.

Data subject requests

If you want to access, correct, amend, or delete data controlled by THRIVE, you may request the deletion of a THRIVE account or LXP Service by sending a request to privacy@thrivelearning.com 

Data retention

The data we collect as part of your use of the service is retained for as long as you remain an active user. Your data is deleted upon your written request or after 6 months of inactivity.
