You might already have the budget for Thrive, thanks to AWS Marketplace
How buying Thrive through AWS Marketplace can unlock existing budget, cut supplier admin and still get you terms that fit.

What if you could buy a new learning platform faster, without asking finance for new money?
In our many conversations with prospective customers, we tend to hit upon the same theme again and again: selecting a learning platform is just one piece of the puzzle. The procurement process is its own separate, complex thing to navigate, and that can slow your momentum before you’ve even started.
So we've made it easier. Thrive is now available on AWS Marketplace, which means many organisations can buy Thrive through a supplier they already work with, using budget they may have already set aside.
Use the AWS budget you've already committed
This is the part most people don't know about, and it's the big one.
Lots of larger organisations have signed an agreement with Amazon Web Services to spend a set amount over a number of years. In return, they get better rates. Finance teams then work hard to make sure that committed spend actually gets used.
Helpfully, software bought through AWS Marketplace can count towards that commitment. So if your organisation has an AWS agreement in place, Thrive could be paid for from money that's already been approved and allocated, rather than coming out of a brand new budget line.
For L&D and HR teams, that lifts a weight off. Instead of asking finance for new money, you're showing them a way to put existing spend to good use.
Skip the new supplier paperwork
If your organisation already uses AWS, Amazon is very likely an approved supplier. Buying Thrive through AWS Marketplace means you're adding to an existing relationship, not starting a new one.
That can take a lot of the slow, admin-heavy steps out of the process. Thrive's costs appear on your existing AWS bill, so finance has one fewer invoice to track. And your IT and procurement teams already know how the Marketplace works, so there's less to explain and less to sign off.
It's how we buy some of our own software at Thrive, for exactly these reasons. It's simply a smoother way to get a tool in the door.
Get pricing and terms that fit you
Buying through a marketplace doesn't mean settling for an off-the-shelf deal. We can set up a private offer on AWS Marketplace, with pricing and contract terms tailored to your organisation.
You get the same conversation you'd have with us directly about what you need, how many people will use Thrive and how you want to roll it out. The only difference is that the paperwork and payment run through AWS.
Need to explain this to your finance team?
If you're not the person who signs off on spend, here's a short summary you can copy and send on:
Thrive, the learning platform we've been looking at, is available on AWS Marketplace. If we have an AWS spend commitment in place, buying through Marketplace could count towards it, so we may be able to fund this from the budget that's already allocated. Billing would go through our existing AWS account, and Thrive can set up a private offer with pricing and terms tailored to us. Can we check whether our AWS agreement covers Marketplace purchases?
How to buy Thrive through AWS Marketplace
Getting started is simple. First, check with your finance or procurement team whether your organisation has an AWS agreement, and whether Marketplace purchases count towards it. Then talk to us. Book a demo, or if you're already speaking to someone at Thrive, let your account manager know you'd like to buy through AWS. We'll set up a private offer for you.
