Interactive Content: Flipcards

Flipcards are a new interactive content block in the Mixed Content editor. Authors build a series of cards with content on both the front and back, letting learners reveal additional information by flipping each card.

• A Flipcards block in Mixed Content, with a front and back that can be edited independently
• Rich text content on both sides, with as many cards as needed in one block
• Cards can be reordered, edited or removed while creating content, with a preview before publishing

• Encourages active learning, learners interact with content rather than simply reading it
• Ideal for reinforcement, revision and active recall
• Lets authors introduce variety into Mixed Content without external authoring tools

• Authors add a Flipcards block in the Mixed Content editor and enter content for the front and back of each card
• Additional cards can be added, and the set previewed before publishing
• Learners view one card at a time and select it to flip and reveal the reverse side
