Overview
In October 2026, Thrive released Kiki content review in the AI Content Creator. Kiki content review is an AI content review tool that checks learning content against your organisation's own standards before it goes live. Admins set the standards once, and authors can ask Kiki, Thrive's AI agent, for an instant check whenever they need one, replacing slow, inconsistent manual reviews.
What's new
- Admins define standards including tone of voice, target audience, learning goals, brand colours, imagery and words to avoid.
- Authors can request a review at any time from the Content Creator.
- Every finding points to the exact part of the content it relates to, with the standard and evidence behind it.
- Each learning goal gets a clear verdict: covered, partly covered or not yet addressed.
- Authors can dismiss suggestions they disagree with, and Kiki flags when a review is out of date after edits.
- Admins choose who can use it: everyone, admins only or a specific group.
Why / benefits
- Consistent quality checks without someone manually reviewing every piece of content.
- Catches the wrong tone, missed learning goals or words to avoid before anything reaches a learner.
- Guidance rather than a gatekeeper, so authors stay in control of when they publish.
- Keeps every author aligned to the same brand and learning standards.
How it works
- An admin sets the organisation's standards in the AI features settings.
- A Kiki review button appears next to Translations in the Content Creator.
- Kiki checks the saved content and returns findings linked to the relevant sections.
- A review stays valid until the content changes, then authors can run it again.
- Imagery guidance is checked against alt text and placeholder text rather than the images themselves.
Use cases
- An author finishes a module and asks Kiki to review it. Kiki flags two words to avoid and a learning goal that isn't covered yet, so the author tweaks it and publishes with confidence.
- An author disagrees with a suggestion, dismisses it and publishes anyway, as the review guides rather than blocks.
People/personas
- Content authors get instant, specific feedback before publishing.
- L&D leaders keep quality and brand consistent across every author.
- Admins set the standards once and control who can use the review.
