Recommended Hub Widgets
Thrive's recommended Hub widgets let admins suggest useful widgets to specific audiences, while each person chooses whether to add them to their Hub.

Overview
In October 2026, Thrive released recommended widgets for the Thrive Hub. Recommended widgets are admin-curated suggestions that put the right tools in front of the right people, from learning to the integrations they use every day, like Slack, Microsoft Teams and Asana. Each person stays in control of their own Hub, adding what helps and dismissing what doesn't.
What's new
- Admins can recommend widgets to specific audiences.
- Recommended widgets appear in each person's Hub, as long as they don't already have them.
- People can add a recommended widget, then position and customise it like any other.
- People can dismiss recommendations that aren't relevant to them.
- It builds on Hub templates, giving admins curation without fixed layouts.
Why / benefits
- People discover widgets they didn't know existed.
- Admins guide adoption without dictating anyone's Hub.
- A more useful, personalised Hub that people return to every day.
- Wider adoption of the integrations and tools a business invests in.
How it works
- An admin picks widgets to recommend and chooses the audiences to receive them.
- Those people see the recommendation in their Hub.
- They add the widget or dismiss it.
- Recommendations are suggestions, so nobody is forced to add a widget.
Use cases
- An admin rolling out a new integration recommends its widget to the teams who will use it, rather than adding it to everyone's Hub.
People/personas
- Admins curating the Hub experience for their organisation.
- Employees who get relevant tools surfaced to them.
