Overview

In October 2026, Thrive rebuilt the Collaborations admin area to match the rest of the modern Thrive admin experience. Collaborations are shared publishing identities, so content can come from "The Wellbeing Team" or "Compliance" rather than one person's name, which is ideal for internal communications. The uplift makes them faster to find, manage and keep up to date.

What's new

  • A searchable, sortable list of collaborations, with member counts at a glance.
  • A tabbed page for each collaboration, covering Content, Members and Settings.
  • A Content tab showing everything published under that identity, with search and quick creation.
  • A Members tab with bulk removal, plus a drawer for adding several people at once.
  • Clear permissions for who can endorse content.
  • Safer deletion, so a collaboration with published content can't be removed by accident.
  • A responsive, accessible design that works on tablet and mobile, with full keyboard and screen reader support.

Why / benefits

  • One consistent admin experience, so admins who know Structures and Audiences already know Collaborations.
  • Faster to find and manage identities, even for organisations running a dozen or more.
  • Safer housekeeping, with guardrails on deletion.
  • Meets the accessibility standards enterprise and public sector buyers ask for.

How it works

  • Admins manage collaborations in the same place as before, under Manage, then Collaborations.
  • Creating a collaboration now takes just a name, then the avatar and settings are added inside it.
  • The collaboration's name and avatar are what learners see as the byline on published content.
  • Permissions are unchanged, and nothing existing needs migrating or reconfiguring.

Use cases

  • An L&D lead creates a "People Team" collaboration, sets its avatar and adds 15 people who can publish under it, so all People Team guidance comes from one consistent source.
  • After a restructure, an admin finds the right collaboration, selects the eight people who've moved on and removes them in one action.
  • A campaign collaboration has run its course, so the admin deletes it with a typed confirmation.

People/personas

  • L&D leaders and admins who set up and maintain team publishing identities.
  • Content creators who publish on behalf of a team or function.
  • Learners, who see consistent, trusted bylines on the content they read.
