Overview
In October 2026, Thrive released a set of reporting improvements for quizzes, assessments, SCORM elearning and surveys in Thrive Analyse. Assessment reporting shows how learners are performing and what they actually know, and these five upgrades make that data more accurate and readable. It helps L&D and compliance teams spot knowledge gaps and evidence sign-offs with confidence.
What's new
- Observer names and emails now show against each observed assessment attempt.
- Surveys and NPS appear in assessment reports as their own content type, without affecting pass rates.
- SCORM 1.2 questions show once per learner, not once per attempt.
- SCORM 2004 questions show real question names instead of system identifiers.
- Learner answers in cmi5 modules show the actual text rather than reference codes.
Why / benefits
- Cleaner data for spotting genuine knowledge gaps.
- A clear record of who signed off each observed assessment, ready for audits.
- Survey and NPS results in one place, kept separate from graded content.
- Readable elearning answers, so content owners know exactly what to improve.
How it works
- The improvements work automatically in the background.
- There's no change to how learners take assessments or how content is built.
- Reporting users see cleaner data the next time they run a report.
- Survey and NPS responses show without a pass or fail grade, as they're ungraded.
Use cases
- An airline compliance team runs a report on observed assessments and sees exactly which assessor signed off each attempt.
- An L&D manager finds the questions learners keep getting wrong in a SCORM module, without duplicate entries skewing the picture.
- A People team tracks quarterly NPS results without distorting assessment pass rates.
People/personas
- L&D managers tracking knowledge gaps.
- Compliance officers who need audit-ready evidence.
- Content owners improving elearning.
- HR and People teams running surveys.
