Building a ‘go to’ place for learning

As a collaborative organisation, Sopro identified a need for a platform to enable them to make their learning accessible and encourage peer-to-peer knowledge sharing. Learning was taking place across different teams but there was a lack of consistency which meant there were silos that needed breaking down.

The team identified THRIVE as a partner to help them on their journey and loved the early exploration sessions where they were able to hone in on exactly what was going to help them succeed.

Scaling up onboarding and talent mobility

The company is growing fast, which brought a set of challenges the team needed to meet. Onboarding large numbers of employees meant they had to facilitate faster speed to competency and look at reducing the overall cost of onboarding. 

The team were also keen to enable skill development within the organisation, both for the roles people are already in, but also to help employees move into new areas across the business. The THRIVE Learning & Skills Platform is giving them the tools they need to make this happen.

User generated content

Sopro already had a desire within the leadership team to enable user-generated content and peer learning across the teams. With the THRIVE Learning & Skills Platform in place it’s going to be much easier for them to encourage UGC and they’re already finding that they’re not having to work hard to get people using the platform. 

A great early example has been a video competition which was run through the platform and was based solely on users generating and uploading their own content.
