We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Analyst to join our team. You will work with customers who are focused on delivering real value to their organisations, challenge the status quo and develop a culture of experimentation using the insights you and the team provide. What You’ll Do

We are looking for someone who possesses a strong skill set in Python and Power BI, and is comfortable providing mentoring and coaching across the team. You’ll be responsible for managing and developing the team as well as taking a lead role in the strategic direction of the service we offer. You’ll work with both internal stakeholders and a range of different clients and varied and exciting projects.

Main responsibilities

• Data Modelling: working with multiple data sources you’ll need to build appropriate models that allow you to create data stories that highlight the entire user journey.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Building bespoke analytics for customers from custom models that will vary between clients.
• Customer engagement: Ownership of key accounts, delivering on-site and virtual workshops. Regular cadence of interaction with clients to help develop a culture of experimentation.
• Project management: Manage controlled experiments that can span many months looking to measure the impact that learning activity can have on key organisational KPIs.
• Strategy & Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of analysts, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and innovation. Oversee the team's projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
• ETL: Develop our data warehouse by transforming data generated by the platform into something that is report ready, following specific data warehousing design patterns. Support product analytics as well as providing access to customers to the underlying data in a way that ensures security, accuracy and performance.
• Product development: Identify reporting requirements and help influence our product roadmap to enhance our analytics offering, whilst providing data extracts to customers when needed.

• Your passion for data will shine through and you’ll be able to talk to stakeholders about learning insights.
• You have strong experience working in analytics with a track record of delivering incredible value to clients, the business or both.
• You’ll be comfortable working with tools such as PowerBI or Tableau and working with REST APIs.
• You’re ambitious, collaborative, curious and interested in the learning technologies industry - if you have experience in the industry, that’s a bonus.
• You’re great with customers and able to form key relationships with stakeholders to help them prove the value of what they do.
• You’re extremely interested in data and keep up to date with current trends and new approaches.
• You’re keen to support less experienced members of the team, share knowledge and provide mentorship alongside other senior team members.
• You will be comfortable working with SQL and will have had experience working with Python including Pandas.
• Any experience with MongoDB and AWS cloud architecture is a bonus, but not required.
• You’ll have a background in computer science, statistics or related experience.
• You’ll have an understanding and preferably have experience building and maintaining data warehouses.
• You’re someone who manages projects and their time well and is able to identify opportunities to improve processes and gain efficiencies within the work you deliver.
