Content Club

Gü Puds

Pud pioneers use the Content Club to supercharge their L&D strategy, with content gaps filled for free and campaigns planned to boost engagement.

An appetite for excellence

Gü have been treating tastebuds to wickedly delicious desserts since 2003, and in that time, they’ve grown to almost 200 people across the UK. Of course, the proximity to such mouthwatering puds makes working at Gü a dream job for many, but with an ever-expanding team and plans to grow into the US, Gü were on the lookout for a library of flexible, sustainable learning content to upskill their people - and sweeten the deal.

Resources were tight

One hurdle stood in the way of Gü and the digital learning culture they wanted to create, and that was the lack of an established L&D team. So, Suzanne Wood joined as Learning and Development Manager to help set the wheels in motion, but as the only full-time member of the L&D team, her capacity to create training materials was limited.

Enter the Content Club

With 700+ CPD accredited learning resources, 80+ prebuilt learning pathways and the promise to fill any content gaps for free, Gü chose the Content Club over the likes of OpenSesame and Trainers’ Library because it offered a wide range of engaging, important topics, at a price point that made sense. What’s more, because the Content Club also includes strategy workshops, campaign plans, webinars, ready-to-go question banks, bonus assets and regular reviews to maximise learner engagement, the partnership gives Gü the capabilities and output of a much larger L&D team.

Content gaps? We’ll fill them for free

The topics topping Gü’s wishlist included wellbeing, mental health awareness, diversity, negotiating, presenting, leadership/management and resilience - all of which the Content Club covered in depth. There were, however, a few content gaps that needed filling, particularly around manufacturing-specific food safety and quality training. So, we’re working in partnership with Gü and their subject matter experts to add this content to the offering; creating a customer-driven roadmap, tailored to their specific needs. Oh, and we’re filling those gaps for free.
